Welcome! I’m Jess, I was a teen mom turned full-time lifestyle blogger and content creator. I started this blog about 8 years ago because I love sharing my life with you. Today, my daughter Corrine and I travel around sharing our foodie adventures and style selects. I talk about my mom life, the realness of relationships, the reality of having a 23 year old daughter (hey empty nest syndrome), and my work as a wellness Coach. We’ll cook together, cry together and sweat together. I’ll be your dessert enabler and fellow skincare addict. Let’s eat the good stuff and push through the rough stuff. Love, Mama Lizama <3

Choices are everything. Autonomy over our bodies s Choices are everything. Autonomy over our bodies should never be up for debate and the right to make decisions that are best for our bodies, our lives, and our families should be up to us.

I was a teen mom. That was a choice. Wow what a time and what a place for me to be able to make that choice for myself. I implore you to speak up about our right to choose.

Living in both California and Wisconsin, we’ve seen both sides of it. We’ve heard all sides of it. And the only side that matters is the individual upon which the decision impacts the most… The woman whose reproductive freedoms are being dangled in front of her as if this has anything to do with anyone other than them.

Tell Kelly & Dorow they’re too extreme on issues like women’s reproductive rights and call them today!

Love is love and here’s my story about Nashville Love is love and here’s my story about Nashville bc now is not the time to be silent and representation is everything

We celebrated Thanksgiving early so that @laceystonefitness and I could be in TN and in WI this week for a win win holiday situation. So here I was bringing my love Lacey home and while almost all of my family members were so incredibly warm and welcoming and loving (duh, plus they’re the only ones who actually matter) others refused to bring their children to our dinner and almost didn’t show up themselves bc, I dunno, they think being gay is contagious? Or perhaps they just wanted to ensure we weren’t being too “gay” in front them? Whatever that means… Whatever their reasons, it’s infuriating and disrespectful. It’s hurtful and absolutely absurd. Bigotry. They’ll blame their religion, I blame their ignorance. Fear keeps them in the hate.

My heart is heavy these days. The mass shooting at the LGBTQ club in Colorado was senseless. And are you paying attention to what’s happening in Iran? In the world? Please help me understand bc I feel hopeless.

What keeps me hopeful today and every day are the bright spots in the day. Lacey, Corriney, Quinny, my family, my friends, and you. This holiday season I am thankful for YOU reading this and for my nearest and dearest. Let’s spread more love in the world

Love keeps you in the light. Let’s fight for the light. And for one another. #loveislove and I’ll fight for that with everything I am

My baby girl is 25 today. I cannot even comprehend My baby girl is 25 today. I cannot even comprehend time, what am I, 98?!

Corrine, I’m honored to be your mama. You’re my greatest accomplishment in life bc you are thriving and you are strong, resilient, funny, ambitious, successful, hilarious, empathetic, beautiful inside and out, and I would like to think I had something to do with that… Even though I had no idea what the hell I was doing, you took my hand (with your cutest lil baby hands) and trusted I’d get us through life and here we are still kickin’

I love you and I cannot wait to squeeze you this weekend and celebrate you and shower you with all the love I have. Happy birthday baby girl ❤️❤️❤️

PS she still takes all my money and refers to it as “petty cash” 🫠

Swipe through for a flash back from today on through when it all started back in 1997

Fall here is magical and we had a wholesome af time with our girl @katierinkamkerealtor at the pumpkin patch and then @laceystonefitness carved Hank + Frank and we dropped them off at the town’s Halloween square where everyone contributes their works of art to the event and we visited them and listened to live music and apparently we’re beer lovers now and also @jess_lizama has acclimated bc it was in the 40’s and we were just all willy nilly boppin’ around the grounds in a single layer singing Hokey Pokey with the cutie goblins running around

No punctuation needed bc if you were here that’s how we’d tell it 😆🎃🥳
