Of all the holidays I feel like Valentine’s Day gets the most flack. Just me? Some people love it, some people leave it, and some people do like Joe and I and celebrate the day before or after … ummm hello discounted chocolates! We’re just not about those set menus and hiked up couples pricing.

But if you’re someone who celebrates and you’re looking for a thoughtful gift for her, this guide is perfect for every lovely in your life <3 I say this because it’s literally the list I gave Joe when he asked what I wanted 😉 

Madewell Jersey Robe – we’re all about that cuddled up, keep me warm, cozy 24-7 life aren’t we. This. Is. It! Not too heavy where she’ll be sweating beneath it, yet thick enough to not have to wear anything else at all … hubba hubba

Diptyque Candle – I never understood all the fuss over these candles until someone gifted one to me. Okay WE GET IT, you’re supreme candles we get it

Bose Speaker – water resistant (hello singing in the shower), blue tooth (hello wireless, she doesn’t need any more wires on the counter with her straightener, curling iron, phone charger..), and compact (hello beach bag my old friend)

Herbal Green Tea Set – the cutest ever, it’s a sip of tea with a spot of sugar and she’ll be feeling like Mary Poppins in no time. And the medicine it’s helping to go down is life.. she’s had a rough day, this helps. And some tequila. Maybe tie a bottle of it to the top of this gift box

Gucci Belt Bag – hey I love my boujee tendencies too and if you’re gonna splurge go Gucci baby

Marble Cheese Tray – I’ve never met a cheese I don’t like and I’m sure she hasn’t either. Unless it’s feety. Well this cutie baby is perfect for hosting, it’s perfect to stack pizza on even, and it’s like really pretty. Just like she is

Dear Santa, I created this gift guide for the beauty lovers out there and hi I’m one of them. I would very much like to find these under the tree on Christmas morning please and thank you. I’ve been a good girl just ask Joe. Actually don’t ask Joe, ask my puppers Luna and Ace 😉

These are easily my top six picks for this season’s beauty faves! A lil something for hair, skin, and over all glow, the beauty lover in your life will appreciate any of these gifts. I really wanted to include splurge worthy items because there’s so many products to choose from, if you’re gonna spend the pretty penny, spend it on these pretties!

La Mer Crème • One of the most luxurious brands on the market, I’d genuinely take anything from La Mer… oh a sample you say? I’ll have it! lol It’s so rich and hydrating, never irritates my skin, and this set for $150 will give you some of the most coveted La Mer skincare essentials. Say bye to dryness and uneven texture, oh and to parabens and sulfates too. 

Huda Eyeshadow Palette • How pretty and festive is this palette! With its ultra pigmented pinks and nudes, and sparkles too! 18 shades, you can’t go wrong with this one. It’s such a timeless collection of colors that you’ll be able to dip into it long after the holidays. Investment piece! 

Nurse Jamie Uplift Massaging Beauty Roller • I’m kind of loving obsessed with lymph drainage videos and how different beauty tools can aid your skincare to create lasting results. I have two beauty rollers (would you like a video on this?), a rose quartz one that I keep in the fridge to apply serums and creams, and this Nurse Jamie one that I keep on my nightstand. Not to mention it feels so relaxing to have a mini massager rolled all over your face, give it a try! 

Oribe • Oribe anything! When people hug me if they mention how my hair smells it’s probably this guy right here. Oribe is one of my go-to hair care brands because it just does the job. It smells clean and fresh, vamps up my hair when it’s drab, and the packaging is something out of marketing dreams lol This shampoo has caffeine it it which rejuvenates your hair follicles and salicyclic acid which will oh so gently exfoliate your scalp, it’s a wonderful clarifying product. Lookin’ at all my dry shampoo addicts out there!

Tatcha Gold Beauty Oil • Oh so fancy! Put gold in cow manure and tell me it’s great for my skin and I’d probs slab it all over my face. I’m a monster I know. This is a ‘does all the things’ kind of beauty oil with 23-karat gold that you can literally put anywhere. Your skin, your hair, your cuticles, put it everywhere! I especially love this oil for my dry skin and to combat fine lines, but it was created for all skin types, so this. is. for. you. And your beauty babe too! 

Slip silk pillow case • My NUMBER ONE beauty tip for you is to invest in a silk pillow case. For you, for your beauty guru bestie, for your mother in law, for your significant other. It’s my lil gem of a beauty secret, not that it’s any secret, but this silk pillow case is anti-aging, anti face-squishing and creasing, anti-bed head, and PRO YOUTH magicalness. The fastest way to a man’s heart … is through his belly! Not a beer belly per say, BUT this makes a wonderful gift set! It’ll make him kiss you faster than he can make the beer! If he’s all about that Axe body spray life (ahem Joe!) and you want to ease him into a sexy man scent, try gifting him with a cologne that you LOVE! He’ll love it too and he’ll appreciate the extra sniffs and nuzzles from you! Flannels are just as sexy as they are fashionable in my opinion, and nothing screams, “I’m a sexy AND strong lumberjack”, quite like a flannel does!  Or a man bun. And a burly beard.

Team building skills are best created through adventures and activities! Make some memories and find some incredible things for the two of you to do on sites like Living Social and Groupon! Double that with a polaroid camera to capture all the moments because you KNOW how much she likes taking photos of YOUR food! Speaking of collages, you can one-up that gift by creating beautiful frames and art work with those photos by using services like Shutterfly and other photo making programs!
